Your patience has paid off - Thank you:wave:

We will assemble at the Citgo west of Elmira (12 miles west of Gaylord on M-32) at 10 AM Oct 6. We may do a quick run to dead man's hill for pics, then through the woods to Wolverine on easy, yet scenic, trails. This is a VERY stock friendly ride, so bring a friend!

We will provide hot dogs. Let us know how many are coming so we can ball park the hot dog count. (get it?):hysterical:

Technically no, but I think of it as cheap insurance from being hassled with by the DNR.

Plus they help pay for Trail Maintenance costs :)

I am looking at possibly coming, won't know for sure until tomorrow. Since it's late notice, don't worry about me for food. No big deal. I'll be coming from the Bay City area as well, and it'd be just me as of now, unless I find a co-pilot.

Bring what you got, bring what you want. The Color Tour is an opportunity to enjoy some of Michigan's Splendor - the details will work themselves out.

Add two to the count for a friend of mine, Kim, and his passenger.
He will be driving his Dakota.
(by the way, he describes it as deep blue or purple - I wonder if some might call it Lapis Blue)

Kim came up with us to St Helen and West Branch area two weeks ago. That was the first time his 4WD Dakota had been off-road, and he has 200,000 miles on it. You should have seen the grin when get made up one of the sand climbs at the bowl in St Helens.

Sorry, doesn't look like I will be making this one, although I would love to.

Sounds like quite a crew. I was just looking for a CB for myself, too. I'll have a "trash talker" (family radio) with me so if you have one, bring it along in case you don't have a CB.

As for food, just bring along your favorite soft drink.

Please make sure to fill out a Tailgate report for me to document the amount you spent this weekend!

DieselMTU
October 8th, 2007, 02:11 PM
Just to be clear, on the tailgate report does selecting "no" for do I mind if a letter is sent to local chamber of commerce. That one will be sent? Or does Yes mean you have permission to send one?

phittie1100
October 8th, 2007, 02:23 PM
Technically you should select "No" for I don't mind, but everyone ends up selecting "Yes" meaning it's OK to use their data. I need to get Kevin to fix the wording on it, because when I reviewed my first form, my feedback said the opposite of what I intended.

OK. If you figure out how, I can use about any file type. Garmin stuff is pretty much .gpx There is actually some info in the latest Boondocker that may help you too.
