Anyone know of a decent club to join around Michigan??
So I have about had it with land closures and talk of the big shutdown out west starting with the Rubicon Trail.......It's time for me to roll up my sleeves, show off the guns, turn the hat around backwards and get mean.....I just hope it isn't too late.....

If I lived out West where wheeling is waaaay more popular than it is here....(60 miles north of Detroit, Michigan......) I'm sure there wouldn't even be a reason for me to be posting this, but since I don't live there.....I need some help guys. I am a 22 yr old guy in my last year of college with a little extra time on my hands, barely any money but alot of ambition to help keep our sport thriving. This week, I plan on joining a large club along with next week another and so on and so forth.....Some of the larger clubs I plan to support include but are not limited to....(Blue Ribbon Coalition, United Four Wheel Drive Association, Friends of the Rubicon, Tread Lightly)

Now here's where my problem is....I really want to find a local club around the Great Lakes Area that actually cares about wheeling and isn't just a bunch of redneck ****s that give people like us a bad name with trucks on combine and tractor tires driving through 6' deep mudholes at full tilt drunk off their asses.....seriously, it seems like that's all we got anymore around the area where I'm from and it's getting really old. I like mud bogs and whatnot, but one guy had 15,000 people at his place and made $150,000.00 in one day off $10 admission prices. He ended up getting shutdown because of what I said above and it's just frusterating. Like I said....anyone know of a decent club in Michigan that actually cares about the sport and not just about gettin all ****ed up and then driving their giant trucks through the mud and hitting other people on quads and ****.......?

Also...Here's a prime example of the types of clubs around me that I really want nothing to do with.....if they were able to be educated.....I'm sure they would be a force in the North to be reckoned with.......but I think alot of them just think they are above the law.....

This video is from Michigan and is a prime example of the **** that really pisses me off about the type of wheeling around our area.....

redneck video (http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=6526633)

If you watch the video....go towards the end....about to the part where the guy and his girl are on the quad and tell me what ya think about what happens......It's just pathetic and this ****s out there for everyone to see and it's like ammo to the greenies....

I watched part of the video, and hope that it is on private land.

I would ask them to take it down, as it gives us all a bad name as rednecks tearing up the country side!

I thought the video part was going to be one of the got mud guys that turned over on his side a couple weeks ago at the Mounds.

Here is the video I was talking about:

Not sure what kind of beverages he picked up from the spilled cooler but I think I have a good idea . . . . .
