Circumstances in my personal life made me think this morning that maybe we should do a raffle or toys for tot donation at the xmas party.
It would give the membership of GL some good PR.

Or give to a needy family.

I can nominate one:
My cousin Brandy's husband just died last night. She is a homemaker with two young children. I think Xmas will be a struggle for her.

Oh yeah we are doing the raffle for that 4-wheeler who is in need.
So many people in need, so little to give :(

I know from our clubs experience that to do a raffle you would need a lottery license. These take way to much time to try and aquire before the party.

A donation would be a better idea, how about Toys For Tots with some of the toys going to you cousins children?

Thoughts?
