Here are some frequently asked questions from last year:

So why would you want to pay money and come ride with us when you could go any time on your own?
1) We will have 4-5 trail leaders leading groups of 10-15 vehicles. We have worked out routes so that everybody running on both days sees everything on the island. Plan to be out for about 6-8 hours each day, this gets you off the trail at a reasonable time and also gives us some buffer time if something bad does happen on the trails so we are not out until late late.

2) No worries about hassles from the DNR.
a) We have spent the last four years working with the DNR and locals making sure that any trail we run is on public land and that it is open. No worries of private land owners calling the cops as you accidentally roll across their land.
B) We also pull the required permits that allow a group to use the land. Part of your registration goes towards the bonds and permits for this purpose.

3) At our Saturday night dinner we raffle off prizes and also hold a 50/50. Ok, let's go over that.
a) You get dinner. Last year we had pork, mashed potatoes, and a salad and it was pretty tasty. It's hosted by the local Lions club and the proceeds of the dinner go to them.
B) You get the chance to win stuff. We go out and get stuff from companies and we hold a raffle where you can win it. I will try and get a partial list of some of the good stuff.
c) There's a 50/50 raffle. We don't take the other 50%, the last two years we gave it to the local firefighters for their firetruck fund.

4) You support organized four wheeling. Our event is sanctioned through GLFWDA. We do this to provide another event in the GLFWDA calender for trail riders to attend.

5) And there are plenty of other reasons, like meeting new people, getting out on the trails, and stuff like that.
