well i just purchased a 94 yj :D , and i'm looking to do a 4' lift. will that require drive shaft modification at all?

That would depend on if you use a transfer case lowering kit or not, and the brand of lift kit. The driveline modification, in my opinion, is money well spent. You don&#39;t have to worry about losing the fluid from your transfer case if your driveshaft comes out or breaks on the trail and you can recoup the 1"-1 1/4" of ground clearance a transfer case lowering kit will cause you to lose. Plus, the output shaft in an SYE kit is stronger than the stock output shaft.

I have a 95 yj and I would say get a sye if you can. Easy to install and no vibrations with my 4 1/2" lift. I scrapped the transfer case lowering spacers.
