Coalition for Recreational Trails Offers Annual Award for Exemplary Uses of the Recreational Trails Program
Have you or your club invested valuable time constructing trails and trailheads or has a local trail been improved? Do you know of a trail that provides outstanding accessibility for those with disabilities, or enhanced a trail experience through educational outreach like encouraging safe and responsible practices? If so, and Recreational Trails Program (RTP) funding was utilized, you have the opportunity to nominate your trail for an annual award presented by the Coalition For Recreational Trails (CRT). CRT is a coalition of national and regional trail-related organizations. Its members work together to build awareness and understanding of the RTP, which returns federal gasoline taxes paid by off-highway recreationists to the states for trail development and maintenance.
