Hi, my name is Ed and I'm new to GL. Joined earlier this year, seems like a great organization. I hope to get more involved and hopefully attend some events sometime. :)

Welcome to the fold!!

That's a 97 TJ, if I'm not mistaken!!! I know that by the color!!!

Although.....I can't remember what Chrysler called that color!!! I do remember that they discontinued the color halfway through the 97 model year!

And for the record....I personally like the color!

So...what do they call it, anyway???

(And by the way......nobody ever gets the color of MY 97 correct either!!! :lol: )

Nope! It' s an '02........ with 120k miles on it. :D

I think they call it flame red, although now it's more like faded red......... :(

I still love it though. Woohoo, jeeps rock!! B)

The lighting must be off in the pic....it sure looks like that funky pinkish/magenta color that they offered for a short time in '97!

But then again.....most would say that I have a hard time discerning the actual color of TJ's!!!

And for the record.....mine is LAPPIS BLUE!!!!

I don't know why, but the lighting was all messed up that day! But those are the last decent pictures i have of me wheeling (and this was last JUNE)!

But I'm going to Tellico this weekend, so maybe I can get some pictures of my jeep actually looking RED! :lol:

As much as I hate to admit it, I agree with you on what color Ed's TJ looks. I also thought it was that funky dark pink color.

I think those are two different Jeeps. It's OK that your Jeep is realy Pink!

I keep thinking of painting the Grand , then i think of the ridicule id take over the paint , worse yet those that would give me a case of guff for painting it at all ;)
