My Controls Control?

Hey, I want to be able to be able to change my personal photo, put pics in my posts directly from my computer, and whatever else for some reason is blocked. Why do I get "Sorry, the board administrator has not enabled your permissions for this part of the control panel." Its my control panel, why do I need permission to use it. Who else thinks its messed up to have to be given permission for something that says "Welcome to your control panel" at the top. I was also going to put an old pic of my Ford @ Bull gap in the Bull Gap post, maybe I am missing something, but there is only a link on the "post" to be able to post a pic from a URL, not upload it directly from a my computer.
Somebody help me, please. :( :blink:

Hey, thanks for the info. Sorry if I came off as being a little harsh. I was just frustrated with trying to get a pic up. Nothing but peace and love yogi. :)
