Alcan/Deaver springs

Going to do a spring under on my YJ.

Thought about the SOA; However combined with the tube fenders, crusher panels/flares and opened wheelwells. Plus a 1 inch BL to clear the NV4500 and the Atlas it is simply going to be to tall to run 35`s. Also the CG is going to be way higher then I want.

So I am looking at doing an approx 4" spring under using Alcan`s or Deavers combined with a set of Bilsteins on each corner. The springs will be custom made to match the weight of the YJ and all the add ons without being overly stiff.

Anyone offer an opinion on the spring brands ?

I heard they're the best, but also the most $$. I use stock YJ leaves SOA so what do I know!!!

Big money for what you get. I have the Skyjacker soft rides...5.5 inches and I love them. They are very soft...I actually have asked a few of our Associate Members for pricing for some stiffer shocks.

I love the Deavers and 5150 Bilstien&#39;s on the rear of my Taco. I don&#39;t have experience with any of the other brands so I can&#39;t really offer a comparison though.

Ended up doing the Deavers and 5150&#96;s all &#96;round. Hardest part is waiting a couple/few weeks to have them made and shipped :ahhh:
