The weekend of Oct 8,9,10 is the 41st annual Northwood University Auto show and Great Lakes will have a booth there. I encourage you all to come out to the largest outdoor new car auto show in the country and participate by having your trail rig in the GL booth.
The Oct. quarterly will take place on the 10th at the Bullock Creek Elem. and I am hoping to move through the agenda in a timely manner so it gives the membership an opportunity to visit the show as soon as we finnish the meeting.
It does appear after reading some of the recent posts that we will have some additional topics that folks want to discuss at the meeting, I will be asking that GL members in good standing be givin 5 minutes to express their ideas and opinions and that non GL members be givin 2 minutes to express their ideas and opinions.
This is how the ORV advisory board operates and it works very well, one of our biggest complaints is that the meetings take way to long and members do not attend due to that.
If folks want to continue discussing important issues we could do so at our booth with a more relaxed atmosphere!
Some of the agenda items are the election of the office of President and Treasurer, as well as voting on some house keeping items regarding the by-laws and sop's. These are printed in the summer boondocker and were discussed at the July meeting but could not be voted on at that time due to the late arrival of that issue.
So please make plans to attend both events this coming weekend!
