Hmm . . .
I see they're UNITED.
That's good, anyway. Maybe we should approach the Michigan Chapter to join GLFWDA and introduce the other chapters to the Associations in those areas?

PS. I'm workin on getting the Two Trackers to 'see the light'.
I've also met Sand and Swamp Off-Road and Cheep Thrills Off Road Club and I'm trying to get them to incorporate and join GLFWDA / United.

Maybe we should each pick a club or two in Michigan and work on getting them on-board with the "New" GLFWDA?

Membership Drive anyone?

Whatever the reason, it seems that everyone feels they have a better idea or they are carrying an old chip on their shoulder. If we can stay on the same pace that the past year has brought, (notice Bob' numbers went from 200 to 250), we will only get better.

Now, if more of the new members would get involved.....................

I say contact them.

I talked to the guy in PM's about it back when I joined the site months ago.. he didn't seem to have much interest.

Indiana has had several attempts to close what few areas they have for off-roading with mixed success by four-wheelers in the state. They have the same issues with different groups trying to do what is necessary to keep their areas open. I get a lot of information about Indiana from the Illiana Hummer Club (http://www.illianahummerclub.com/) which is big with the Cert Program, American Red Cross and helping the less fortunate in general.
