As many of you know, I have recently become addicted to busses. So, I am asking for your eyes. I am looking for a 1939-1948 parts bus that looks like mine. Basically, It is going to be a twinkie shaped aluminum bus. The sides will look almost like siding on a house. Check out my other posts to see what it looks like. If you get close enough to them to look, they are the only busses that ever had a manual transmission with the shifter on the column. They are called the silversides busses. Over the production period, there were just under 2,600 busses built total, but alot of the 47-48's are still out there in junkyards and fields. So, if you spot one, I'd greatly appreciate if you let me know.

Thanks Tim, I'm curious as to what it was. Following the post, How did people even know he had a bus, he never mentioned it?

Chances are it wasn't like mine. Michigan is full of the old Buffalo series (60's and 70's) series greyhounds in which thousands were made. But I still am curious!

He edited the post, it was listed with no real description other than an old greyhound bus in the weeds.
