I haven&#39;t done any in that area personally, however, here are some suggestions from a local:

Outdoor Adventures located on George Lake, maybe 6 miles from exit 212 -- ph 345 2700. It&#39;s an old KOA place .

Ogemaw County has a neice little campground right on the business loop as you head into town. It&#39;s about 1 mile from the 212 exit right on the loop . There&#39;s another one down Old 76 a few miles.

Also, Grandman (Marv) has invited a bunch of people up to camp and work on the Pig Gig trails on his property. He and Sue have offered to let anyone camp in their big back yard -- no facilities though.

If you want to , or need to go a little more north . the Rifle river State park is in Lupton,and just acrost the road is Park View, a privet owned park. also west of Rose City is Ambrose Lake State Park.( it is in the middle of trails area) Mike

its a little bit of a ride, but ill be camping in oscoda. old orchard park is real nice. on the au sable river, near the damn store.
