A few of us are hitting the Badlands this weekend, let me know if anyone is interested, or heading down that way anyway. I think we have 5 or 6 Rigs going down.

I apologize for the short notice!

I didn't get my Hydro-steer on yet due to my motor problem at Silver Lake, so I'll have to wait on Paragon until I get the steering all set. As it is I'm going to be fighting it at the Badlands. :(

Let me know when the next Paragon trip is, I'll try to make it.

We ended up with 5 rigs in our group and a great day of wheeling Saturday. After serveral years of breakage and disapointment I was able to run "Purgatory " successfully. Bad steering and all! I'll post video clips and pics when I get back (had to go out of town on business).

I ended up breaking shock and a 3/4 heim ona control arm, but that was at the end of the day anyway so all in all I think I made out pretty good. "Indy" (Jim R.) broke a Dana 60 shaft in the rear and an alloy dana 44 shaft in the front. I limp back to the trailer in two wheel drive, Indy in 1 wheel drive!

Oh yeah, and it was a long day of strong arming my steering, but, the new parts were ordered yesterday!

Be sure to include pic's of your arms as you bulk up; who knows you could be the next Hulk Hogan... :bigemo_harabe_net-110:

Is this the same D60 shaft that was giving Indy problems a year ago?

No, a completely different axle. His other had an offset pig, this one is centered. I guess when your crawl ratio is a bazillion to 1 you'll pop a few shafts now and then! :doah:

I really didn't have many still pictures and I have a lot of dead space to edit out of the video to shrink the file size, so I pulled a few from the video. Sorry, they just aren't as crisp as real still shots.
