Took a look at a 1986 suburban 3/4 ton two wheel drive today. It runs and drives but has holes you can throw pumkins through. I'm thinking about buying it to pull the 454 out for another project. It's got a two wheel drive TH400 and ff14bolt rear plus any good glass or interior parts.

Yes - I have an '89 2wd 2500 with slightly smaller holes that only a grapefruit would fit through, but I am in need of some suspension parts (steering gear, pitman arm, etc) and some brake parts (calipers & rotors/drums if they have any life left). Let me know if you end up picking it up and parting out.

It's big and ugly, but its got enough room for the family, the camping gear, and enough grunt to drag the Jeep whever we go.
