I decided that along with my Auto Service degree, I would do the Custom Cars and Concepts program offered at Washtenaw Community College. Pretty much, its a class, run like a custom car shop, only we dont get paid for it!! Thats beside the point, its a learning experience I will probably never get again. We've built quite a few vehicles, a Chevelle that was a featured build on TLC's show, Rides. A twin turbo mustang, that took an award at SEMA. And a few more on the list.
Right now we have three builds going on, a 54 Chevy Bel-Air, called the Fire Chiefs car. This car will be a musuem car, and sit at the Michigan Fire Musuem here in Ypsi. The second is a 52 Chevy Pickup, for PPG. And the third, and to me the coolest one, a 51 Ford F100, for a Make-a-wish foundation kid.
Basically what we are trying to find, is a cab for the 51 Ford truck. This seems to be a hard part to find, as the 49-52 trucks were somewhat "rare". If anyone knows of anyone or place that might have a cab they'd like to sell, please let me know! Here are some links to info about the Make-A-Wish project.

Sorry for the long post, just thought I'd explain what exactly we do and are doing.
