On September 14, 2013, Two Trackers 4WD Club will be hosting a fund raiser event for Special Days Camp. Special Days is a camp for children with cancer. The camp provides the kids and their siblings with a camping experience created for their special needs. The camp is held at the YMCA Camp Pendalouan, in Montague, MI.

We are planning a full day of activities, including a Virtual Scavenger Hunt route through the Allegan State Forest with clues; Breakfast; Lunch; Games; Door Prizes; 50/50 raffle; stickers; snacks and water for a donation; and quilt raffle. Everyone is invited. A vehicle capable of traveling state forest roads is suggested.

Registration is $20 for adult driver, $10 for adult passengers, $5 for children 6-18; children 5 and under free; and takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event.

I think I know a state 4x4 Association that might like to donate some items to your raffle (hint hint)

Donations continue to role in. It's less than a month away. If you plan on trailering your rig we Jerry's body shop has generously offered up their shops parking lots to park tow rigs. The shops are just across the street from the Moose and on the north east corner from the Moose. If you are planning on coming but haven't preregistered yet, we ask that you help us out by preregistering. We are preparing the lunches for the day and the info we are gathering on the preregistration will help us do that. You can preregister up till August 28th online or by sending in the form we have on the web page. http://www.twotrackers.org/wheelin-for-a-cure/ :monkeydance:

At this time no unless someone shows up from Great Lakes with stuff to sell. I do know that GLFWDA donated items for the raffles but I don't know what has been donated.

We couldn't have done it with out all the help from our sponsors, volunteers and all the attendees. Don't have a final total yet but the turn out and donations for the cause far exceeded our expectations for our first Wheelin' For a Cure event.

Also a big congratulations to you for being the big winner of the Jeep Jamboree.

Final totals are 51 rigs 130 people. We have collected so far over $2900 for Special Days Camps before expenses. I say so far because some of the attendees continue to send in additional donations. The event turned out better than we anticipated for our first event. All this because of the great volunteers and attendees. We would like to thank everyone who came out, donated, volunteered or got involved in some way. You are all awesome. :yourock:
