All right everyone its time to mark your calenders for the 15th Annual Two Trackers Forest Cleanup. Come on over for a great event with some great people. I believe there will be a GLFWDA quarterly meeting after the event if someone would like to post the specifics of that when the details are finalized.

Any updates on the quarterly meeting? Time and Place?

Same plan as last year - Ramada Inn, Whitehall. I'll get a block of rooms reserved, meeting in their main conference room 5-7pm on April 20, right after the cleanup.

Thanks for the info!

Sorry to be a pain - have not gone in years past so was not familiar with what was done. I likely won't be able to make the cleanup, but would like to make it to the quarterly meeting.

Usually by now we already have it posted, but I have been a bit preoccupied the last couple of weeks

Hopefully nice and warm that week so I can open up the cottage for the summer.

I am new here but this is something my wife & I would enjoy helping with, I have a Jeep wrangler 07 2 door with towing package but no trailer. We could offer man power , would love to help and be a part of this!

There are usually plenty of people with trailers and trucks that need helpers to fill them up. So your help would be much appreciated.

Hey gang - need to report a change of venue for the Spring Quarterly meeting. The Ramada Inn has something weird going on, and currently has no conference rooms available. The Comfort Inn in Whitehall will be happy to give us their breakfast area set up for our meeting, and since it is their "slow season" they are giving us the room for about half of what we usually pay for a conference room and are including coffee, tea and water service.

Also, if you are coming to town for the Two Trackers cleanup and need a hotel room, they will cut you a deal on the room if you tell them you are from GLFWDA - $62.99 per night. I will post all of the details over in the event forum

We were out in a portion of the clean up area last weekend.
As usual, there is a lot of junk out there waiting for us to pick it up. =(

The illegal wheeling appears to be in full swing by the looks of Sweeter road too. :banghead:

And almost as if on cue, the steady 25-30 mph wind that we fought all the way out yesterday and rocked us to sleep all night in the camper cut in half around 6:15 this morning.

Huge Thank You to all of the people that made it out yesterday! Despite the weather we had another great clean up this year. These should be the final numbers unless I missed something.
Volunteers- 98
Trash- 60 yards
Waste Material- 5 gallons
Tires- 422

Special thank you to the people who stuck around and put in some overtime last night and today to hit a couple of areas that we were told about that people didn't get a chance to get to during the clean up.

Also thank you to the clean up committee members who helped organize this event.
