I was looking at the DNR Trail Maps today and thinking about taking a trip in the spring to explore some of the ORV Routes in the UP. I was specifically looking at possibly hitting the Marquette-Manistique Route then moving on to the Bill Nicoll's Route which connects to a couple of others up in the north west of the UP. Has anybody been on these Routes? Are they worth Planning a trip around?

Years ago and yes they were good routes. There has been many improvements by the MI-TRALE club. Look them up on the web.

Are these able to be used by all still this time of year or ar they "snowmobile only"?

I would be disinclined to go wheeling on them at this time of year as it would create disunity among the user groups. (Guess who got a thesaurus for Christmas!)
