41st Annual Northwood University International Auto Show Oct. 8,9,10 2004

Billed as the biggest outdoor new car show in North America.

Features over 450 new domestic and import cars, commercial trucks, speacialty and recreational vehicles.

Exciting new exhibits... Avanti, Featherlight, Panoz, and an expanded aftermarket exhibit.

Classic car show on Sunday.

Over 60,000 in attendance in 2003 over a three day period.

Why am I telling you this?

Because Great Lakes will have a booth set up there! And we will be joined by the United Fourwheel Drive Associations PR director and their display!

This will be the same weekend as the next GL quarterly, thus allowing GL members an excellent chance to visit one of the automobile industries premier events.

I would like to personally invite every GL member to come out and veiw the show and lend your support at the GL booth.

It is free admission to enter the show and there are food vendors on site, such as Billy Bones BBQ.

I would like to get through the meeting agenda on sunday in a timley manner so that we can go as a group and all enjoy it with some commaraderie.

It is only a short 3 mile drive from the meeting location to the campus.

I dont think the hotels would be all booked by now but you never know.

I would offer up camping at my place but one tent would fill my yard.

And yes the show is in Midland, 3 miles from the meeting location.

My Jeep will be on the RTI ramp. We will need a more stock vehicle so folks can see we arent just an assoc for highly modified rigs.

My trailer will be our booth so I plan on putting one vehicle at each end of it, and it will depend on how much room they actually give us.
