MJ is for sale

I have read that MJ is up for sale, Jeremy Vohwinkle has put a price on it and rumor has it if it does not sell it will be closed?

That is the place I started web wheeling, sorta, it was actually Jeeps Unlimited but then became MJ after a while.

Time to move on I guess.

I'm not convinced. I haven't seen anything to indicate that Jeremy is really selling. Just some off the wall posts from people that can't really be identified as anyone in the know.

There are a lot of people migrating over to www.greatlakes4x4.com per posts at MJ suggesting the do that. Maybe, just maybe, MJ isn&#39;t for sale and the gang at gl4x4 just wanted to steal members. :ph34r: :P

What a stunt by a few people to blow this episode way out of proportion. I&#39;m not here to respond to people, but only to clear things up.

The site is NOT closing. There will be someone else taking over from here. The site will still be here, same software, same features, etc. Simply someone else will be administrating the site and taking care of everything.

So don&#39;t everyone keep posting about gloom and doom or whatever. Things are staying up, but you will notice someone else with the administrator title. Some people who have a lot of talent and experience with running sites like these and who will give the site the attention it needs.

This was supposed to be a seamless transition of power, which is why it was not posted. But thanks to a few big mouths, it has caused all of the drama. And for those of you bitching about "making" money off the site, maybe you fail to realize that the site has been up for what is going on 5 years. 4 of which the site lost thousands. Even with a sale at the asking price would I be able to cover the debts I had taken over the past 5 years out of my own pocket to keep the site up.

So carry on, but I will not tolerate the proliferation of speculation and statements by people who have no clue what is going on.

ive been on mj its kinda cool, but the people just bash each other so much. and i mean it aint funny ribbin each other. they can be down right mean sometimes. so i go there once in a while, but i like the company here much better. plus i dont have a dana 60 and a 14 bolt so i must have a weenie truck. lol
but id hate to see em go by the wayside anyway.

No MJ isn&#39;t really like that...most of them aren&#39;t much over stock anyways. That attitude is Pirate and a little on Misfits.
