thanks mike, tell him theyll go to good use!
i might know where a th400 that can be rebuilt is.....
i'd like this stuff to be in good shape so it doesnt have to be gone through it prior to install and it needs to be a fuel injected motor
the cheaper the better and if the deal is good enough i may include royalties :wow:

I might have a line on the axles...lemme shoot a email to the guy.
Have a 4x4 700r4 out of a truck, no converter. Works good. I was going to buy it from this guy for the Jeep but I can't swing it right now....well not the trans money but everythig else I will need to make it work in the Jeep. Anyway, next weekend I am going downstate to visit family and am picking up a '69 PowerGlide from the same guy. He wants 200 for the 700. Good deal for a working one. I can nab it for you. He lives in Madison Hts. Don't know where you are but we could meet somewhere down there.

If you haven't found a CJ hood in the next couple weeks I'll have one available for the low cost of get it the heck out of my barn. It'll be from a CJ7, and not a short-nose CJ5.

Just got a email back...guy up here has a 60 for 275 and a 14 bolt for 375. I dunno if those are good prices...just what he told me.
He said the 60 has 410's and he thinks the 14 bolt does too, but not sure on that one.

unless the 60 is a front those prices are really steep, and if it is a front ill take it
rears are usually 50-150 unless they are something someone needs specifically

i love the planning stages...
scrap the 4.3 and 350, im now looking for a supercharged 3800 and computer/harness and the jeep auto tranny that goes to the 60* v6 bell housing
to fill some people in, it will be a buggy on 40s with a 3800 to auto to d300 with a d60/70 combo, 48" wide chassis 105ish WB 18-20" belly height at ride height, target weight is less than 3200..... built on a budget, thats all i know for now

Yeah, I know, it sucks! Wife says one vehicle.....so either I get a car or something to wheel! Really, I should have lightly slapped her :bigemo_harabe_net-01: (not really) and bought myself a truck (like I wanted to) then be able to tow my old Cherokee around and build that....now I sit here with a Jeep thats paid off, I have no truck, and the wife won't let me buy anything to tow the trailer I bought with!!! :WhiteRhino:
Off topic slightly, do you guys have a tubing bender? That I could come over and use on Sunday? :D I have 2 bags of sand and a harbor freight pipe bender....I think I'm going to have to go to confession after this!
