saw this story and it reminded me of some old stories you told me once....about old SOR days when they where still at Silver Lake.

The old Nudest Colony campground....circa 1981 or 2. The blast that was heard half way around the county......
Hell yes I remember. Kim still smacks me when I bring it up. Those people in the article sounded like amatuers though, balloons hell, we used 55 gallon garbage bags. Our 'bomb' wouldn't have fit in the back of a car. We launched ours out over the pond at the campground. WAY to close to Kim! That was before we had a motorhome and we were camped on the ground.
I think we made three or 'four mixtures' before we got it right. First couple just glowed like a setting sun over Lake Michigan. But the last one! Yea Haw!
Ahhhhhhhh the good ole days!
I wonder how many people are still around that remember that SOR?
