I have an appointment Fri. morning with a dealership in Bay City to discuss the Awareness program with them.
They have already started to build an obsatcle course on their property!
Fill you all in on the details after the meeting, but it sounds as if it is a go!!!!!!!!!

One question about this awarenss program, what do we do about insurance. does our current policy for trail maint cover this....our would we need to get event insurance like for trailrides.
Also what dealership? TriCity Toyota/Jeep?

Pat, is the awareness training aimed at ATV users, OHV users, etc or is it more general like a hunter safety course that addresses broader issues?

It is strictly fullsize drivers training!
And yes Ken I will make sure you and your wife are on the list!

The gentleman I met with today is the new car manager and an avid offroader himself!
He is taking the information from our meeting to the owners of the dealership and see where we can take it from there. The definately want to do it it is just a matter of discussion amongst the brass at the dealership.
Apparently they have even started a Jeep club for their customers. I will work that angle later! This place definatley needs to get involved with us and us with them, perfect two way street!

As a class of 2003 4WD awareness graduate, I highly recommend this class for drivers of any skill level.
