How to post an avatar

Go to My Controls

Go to Edit Avatar Settings

Note the Pixel Size, File Type, and File Size limitations set by the admin

If you have the picture on the internet you can paste the URL into the URL Field

You could do a Google Image search for a picture - Here is one that has the perfect size and dimesions (this is just an example, please make sure you own the image you are using) http://www.glfwda.org/forums/uploads/1137908826/gallery_242_22_74491.jpg

Browse to the exact page where the picture is and Right Click and then go to Properties

Highlight the full URL and Right Click and Copy

Paste the URL into the URL field and Click - Update Avatar

If the Picture is stored on your local machine then follow these steps..

Browse to the location of the picture and check the properties to see if they meet the requirements

Now we know where it is and that it fits the requirements, Click on Browse

Navigate to the image Click on the Filename and Click - Open

Click on Update Avatar
