extension of orv route off dunham lake rd.

Dont know if anyone here was involved, but I wanted to thank someone for the extension of the orv route. We had a family trail run on saturday in the area. Its nice coming back out where we start from on dunham lake rd. versus just popping out on meridian. The tight and twistees proved to be a fun run for the jeeps in my group saturday with the rain.

Yes - the routes in that area are maintained by SoFO. They were given an unusual opportunity to cut that trail without a lot of specific direction from DNRE staff, other than to make sure it met the minimum "box" requirement of 6' wide by 8' tall, and to make sure it went through the general area DNRE wanted to use. In fact, they did too good of a job keeping it tight - they cleared the route while working a vehicle through from S to N, but found when they turned around to go N to S that a couple more trees had to come out.
