There are some areas where a licensed and insured vehicle can travel (many state two tracks) and there are some areas where a ORV license is required (scramble areas, Mounds, Drummond Island). If you have both, you are pretty much legal everywhere as long as the trail is legal. There are also many parks which offer much more technical wheeling. You're best bet is to go someplace with somebody else, or at least stay in an area where there is a large network of legal trails, such as the West Branch area.

What type of trails are you looking to wheel? There are numerous people that are always going out wheeling you could tag along with. I make my way to West Branch fairly regularly and like to get out as much as possible. You'd be welcome to join along with me.

Like Oz says, your question is pretty openended depending upon your desires.

You can check out Michigan's ORV/ATV Trail Maps at http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/1,1607,7-153-10365_15070_15080-38330--,00.html

You have Bundyhill Off Road Park at http://www.bundyhilloffroad.com/

You have Rocks and Valleys at http://rocksandvalleys.com/about.html

You have The Mounds at http://www.geneseecountyparks.org/mounds.htm

You have Silver Lake Sand Dunes at http://www.thinkdunes.com/sand-dunes-7/

Drummonmd Island has 43 miles of ORV Route

I am just getting started...where do you want to go?

Good to see you here. Are you going to the Blueberry Festival Parade thing this weekend? Let me know if you see a big American Flag painted Hummer
